Summary
MAKCODE sells digital scripts and resources delivered online after payment. Because access is granted immediately, most purchases are final and not refundable once the product has been delivered to your account or licence has been issued. We still want you to have a fair experience—read below for exceptions and how to reach us before opening a payment dispute.
Checkout & billing (Tebex)
Payments, receipts, tax where applicable, and many billing or refund requests for orders placed on this site are processed by Tebex Limited and its payment partners. Tebex's own terms and buyer policies may apply at checkout. If Tebex or your payment provider approves a refund, we will honour revoked access to the affected product where technically required.
When a refund may be considered
We may approve a refund or account credit at our discretion, or coordinate with Tebex, in situations such as:
- Duplicate charge — you were billed twice for the same product in error.
- No delivery — payment succeeded but you did not receive licence, download, or dashboard access within a reasonable time and we cannot fix fulfilment.
- Wrong product — you were charged for a different package than the one listed at checkout and we cannot correct the order.
- Pre-delivery cancellation — you contact us before access is granted and before any download or licence key is issued (rare for instant digital delivery).
Refunds are not typically granted for:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Incompatibility with your server setup, framework version, or other resources when compatibility was listed on the product page.
- Lack of technical skill to install or configure the resource (we offer support—see below).
- Bans or policy actions on your game server or community.
- Partial use of the product, leaked files, or licence sharing.
Contact support first
Most issues are fixable. Before requesting a refund or chargeback, contact us via Support or Discord (if linked on the site) with:
- Your order or transaction reference (from Tebex email/receipt).
- The product name and account used at checkout.
- Steps to reproduce the problem, error messages, and framework version.
We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and will work with you on updates, configuration guidance, or replacement access when appropriate.
Chargebacks & payment disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may result in suspended access to purchases, licences, and support while the case is investigated. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to permanent bans from our services.
EU / UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content delivered immediately, that right often does not apply once you have started download or expressly agreed to immediate supply at checkout. By completing purchase of an instantly delivered digital product, you acknowledge that delivery may begin right away and statutory withdrawal may no longer apply to the extent permitted by law.
How to request a refund
- Open Support and describe your issue, or message us on Discord if we provide a link there.
- Allow us time to troubleshoot or correct fulfilment.
- If we agree a refund is appropriate, we will confirm by reply and process it through Tebex or instruct you how Tebex will handle it.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on Tebex and your bank or card issuer.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change when we do. Material changes may be noted on the site or in Discord.
